Stephen is a Chinese and English language teacher from Juneau, Alaska. A graduate of the Department of Defense funded Chinese Flagship program at San Francisco State University, Stephen also has experience studying internationally at Beijing Normal University and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taipei. 

Stephen knows firsthand what it’s like competing for and landing spots in competitive summer programs, secondary schools, and graduate opportunities. His teaching journey has led him to work with students of all ages and a wide variety of backgrounds. Whether as an athlete or as a musician, Stephen loves to express himself. He’s a lifelong learner who sees the value in creativity and pursuing your interests wherever they may take you.
